  • Requirements for Singaporeans’ passports and visas: If you are traveling to Morocco from Singapore and will be using a Singaporean passport, your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in Morocco. Additionally, there must be at least one blank page available for your visa and/or entry and exit stamps. If your passport doesn’t fit these criteria, you won’t be allowed admission into the Kingdom of Morocco.
  • Singaporeans do not require a visa to enter Morocco, making things considerably easier if you intend to book a Morocco vacation package from Singapore. Only nationals of 68 countries, including Singapore, may enter Morocco without a visa. However, whereas nationals of most of these countries are given 90 days in Morocco, Singaporeans are now only permitted to stay for one month. A visa must be requested in advance from a Moroccan embassy if staying for longer than one month.
  • Kids under the age of 16 are allowed to travel on their parents’ passports, provided their photos also appear in the passports.
  • The visa application process can take anywhere from 2 to 15 days, so keep this in mind when booking a Morocco trip package from Singapore.

Keeping on the Right side Of the law in Morocco:

  • Morocco, although having a Muslim majority, is surprisingly liberal, in contrast to what many visitors think. Although the majority of Moroccans are extremely conservative, they are also tolerant of those who are less conservative. However, there are some limits that must be observed if you want to stay out of trouble.
  • Religion is one such illustration. The constitution of Morocco protects religious freedom, and conflicts and clashes between different religions are quite uncommon there. While everyone is allowed to follow the religion of their choosing, proselytizing is absolutely against the law, making it unlawful to attempt to convert someone to a different faith.
  • Drugs and other illegal substances are also bad news in Morocco, and getting found with them or attempting to get them may get you in a lot of trouble. However, most Singaporeans are likely already accustomed to this back in Singapore.

The Sahara is on one side, while the lusher coastal districts are on the other, with the Atlas Mountains cutting through the center.

Explore the "Blue City" Chefchaouen

Discover Chefchaouen, or simply “Chaoeun,” as the locals call it, Morocco’s renowned “Blue City,” its landmarks, and its streets. Its name, which means “two horns,” alludes to the town’s two mountain peaks. Despite being a major tourist destination, Chefchaouen has a much more laid-back vibe than some other well-known cities and is home to some of the friendliest people in Morocco.

Merzouga Sunset Camel Ride & Overnight in the Desert

One of the most famous Moroccan adventures is a camel ride over Erg Chebbi near Merzouga at sunset and an overnight stay in the desert. Most tourists find it pleasurable to go to the Sahara from one of the country’s imperial towns, such as between Merzouga and Marrakech or Merzouga and Fes.

Explore Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca

The Hassan II Mosque is Casablanca’s top tourist destination; if you only see one item there, make it this. It is situated on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and is the biggest mosque in Morocco. Its expansive structure has a prayer chamber supported by 78 pillars made of granite and marble, as well as a museum, spas, a library, and a Koranic school. The prayer room of the second-largest mosque in the world houses 25,000 worshipers, while the courtyard outside can fit 80,000 more.

Explore the Desert Oasis of Boumalne Dades

Discover Boumalne Dades, a picturesque and ancient desert settlement. From the Bou l’Male word for “a location of business and trade,” “Boumalene” is derived. In the past, people in the region traded livestock while using the Dades River to cultivate fruits, vegetables, and grass.
